At Giottus, we are committed to offering you a secure and compliant trading experience. As part of our ongoing efforts to meet evolving regulatory standards, we’ve introduced a new step in processing crypto deposits. This update ensures better transparency and verification of the source of funds deposited into your account.
What’s changing?
Previously, if you received crypto from another exchange or wallet, the amount was automatically credited to your Giottus account. Now, you’ll be required to declare the source of any crypto deposit before it gets processed.
What you need to do
- When you receive a crypto deposit into your Giottus wallet:
Log in to your Giottus dashboard and visit the crypto deposit history section. - Click on the Self-Declaration Form

- If you are using your own wallet, then you need to select the entity name (exchange or wallet from which it is sent) and the purpose of withdrawal.

- If the crypto asset is sent from some other person, then you need to enter your sender's name, DOB, purpose of withdrawal and entity name (exchange or wallet from which it is sent) from the drop-down. You’ll also be required to upload the sender’s KYC document (PAN or address proof).

- The address will be whitelisted once we review your submission.
Once the source is verified and the deposit address is whitelisted, future deposits from the same address will be auto-approved — no extra steps needed!
Why are you required to do this?
This process helps us verify the source of funds, ensuring compliance with Indian regulations and keeping your account safe from unauthorised or suspicious activity. Complete the self-declaration as soon as you receive a new crypto deposit. This will speed up processing and avoid any delays in accessing your funds.
